Terms of use

Last updated:

These terms apply when you use tomtodo.com and the TomTodo app. By using them, you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

The service

TomTodo is a free task and habit manager. We may add, change or remove features over time, and we may stop the service. If we plan to shut it down, we will give reasonable notice on this site and in the app so you can export your data (Account menu → Export my data).

Your account

  • You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
  • You are responsible for what you do with your account.
  • One person per account.

Your content

Your tasks are yours. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Do not use TomTodo to store content that is illegal or that you have no right to store.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts or our systems, and do not use automated means to create accounts or request login codes in bulk. We may suspend accounts that do.

No warranty

TomTodo is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything critical.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, TomTodo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using TomTodo at any time. Delete your account in the app (Account menu → Delete account), or email support@tomtodo.com and we will do it for you.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using TomTodo after a change, the new terms apply.
